Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Best for anyone who likes a story with emotional weight. Leaves you with something to think about.
The mood: Thoughtful and character-driven.
The pace: Gives its people room to develop, at 1 hr 43 min.
What might put you off: It's in another language, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
Not the one if you want explosions or easy laughs.

A Serbian family leaves the troubled Kosovo region after Albanians rape the daughter in front of her mother. When they leave their home after the assault, their family tombs are desecrated, and the move to northern Serbia is marked by rejection by the local people of their new community.
