Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
One for anyone who's already planned their apocalypse hideout and horror fans. The undead are the backdrop; how people treat each other is the real story. Liked The Evil Dead or Grindhouse? This is a good next one.
The mood
Scary and gory.
The pace
Keeps the tension tight, at 1 hr 15 min. Done before bedtime.
What might put you off
Not one for anyone who hates jump scares.

A group of thieves have the tables turned on them during a home invasion. Hidden in the basement they find the remains of secret viral lab experiments gone savagely wrong. Now they must escape before they are infected with a new strain of virus that turns its victims into mutated psychopaths.
