Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop, almost no lasting buzz and a lukewarm 5.9 out of 10 from audiences, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Made for action fans and families. Critics rate it higher than audiences do, so it rewards patience more than it chases thrills.
The mood: Feel-good.
The pace: Fast-moving, at 1 hr 18 min.
What might put you off: Nothing much for most grown-ups.

Gotham City is under siege by a series of bizarre crimes and only the world's greatest detective, Batman, can unravel the mystery! The trail leads to none other than the Penguin and his Animilitia, an animal-inspired squad of villains including Silverback, Cheetah, Killer Croc and the monstrous Man-Bat.
