Who'll love it
Right up the alley of people who enjoy a knot in their stomach and people who like stories about real, flawed people. Leaves you with something to think about.
The mood
Tense.
The pace
Quiet, then quietly devastating, at 1 hr 8 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
What might put you off

  • Not the one if you want explosions or easy laughs.

Sensuous and desirable, Carol Forrest has always attracted the attention of men. Expert in the art of manipulation and control she married an older man, loving only his vast wealth and continued to amuse herself with indiscreet affairs.
