Weeknight Watchearly rating

Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With a box office flop and middling reviews (47% on Rotten Tomatoes), it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Best for martial arts fans and people who love a good family story. The fight choreography is a big part of the appeal. A good follow-up to Beast. Anyone with siblings or parents will recognize something here.
The mood: Exciting.
The pace: Big, sprawling and full of spectacle, at 2 hr 35 min.
What might put you off: It's long: 2 hr 35 min.
It's in Hindi, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
Not for anyone who finds explosions tiring.

David and Monty, estranged half-brothers, train in mixed martial arts to earn a livelihood. However, things change when the two are forced to compete against each other in the final tournament.
