Weeknight Watchearly rating

Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With soft box office and little lasting buzz, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
One for people who can't resist a good whodunit and anyone who watches cooking shows for fun. It plays fair with the clues, so you can play along. Liked Evil Under the Sun or Mulholland Drive? This is a good next one. Don't watch it hungry.
The mood
Tense.
The pace
Never drags, at 1 hr 24 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
What might put you off
Not ideal if you just want to unwind.
