Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Tailor-made for people who like stories that don't look away and people who enjoy a knot in their stomach. It deals with hard things honestly.
The mood: Tense.
The pace: Takes its time with its characters, at 1 hr 35 min.
What might put you off: It's in Spanish, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
Not ideal if you just want to unwind.

Garralda is a troubled college student who only has to pass one last subject to obtain his academic degree. When his teacher catches him copying on a test, he requires him to perform a very unethical task in exchange for passing and thus achieving his goal.
