Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Great for fans of a good revenge story and people who like their stories with a little danger. A revenge story, so expect the pressure to build to a reckoning. If you loved Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair or Lady Snowblood, start here.
The mood: Dark and gritty.
The pace: Gives its people room to develop, at 1 hr 38 min.
What might put you off: It's in Japanese, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
Skip it if you like your heroes clean-cut.

A young man decides one day to start killing yakuza. After he kills his first two he gets roped into helping a wannabe gangster and his bumbling underlings to perform a hit. While things work out in the beginning, this young psychopath quickly becomes more trouble than the gang expected. Will they be able to rid themselves of him, or will they be his next victims?
