Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Tailor-made for anyone who loves watching a plan come together and people who like their stories at full throttle. The fun is in the planning, the double-crosses and the moment it all goes sideways. Liked Silverado? This is a good next one.
The mood
Exciting.
The pace
Wastes no time getting going, at 1 hr. Done before bedtime.
What might put you off
  • Made in 1950: an older pace and style.
  • Skip it if you prefer quiet, talky stories.

Cattle detective, Rocky Lane, arrives in town to investigate cattle disappearances only to realize just three cows owned by eccentric inventor, Nugget Clark, are involved. However, the disappearances lead to a deeper mystery involving dynamite explosions, rampaging cowboys and a water shortage.
