Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Made for people who like the lights on afterwards and romantics. The scares come from the creaks and shadows as much as the jumps. If you loved Jezebel or Only Lovers Left Alive, start here.
The mood
Warm and romantic.
The pace
Quiet, then quietly devastating, at 2 hr.
What might put you off
Skip it if you need something light and fast tonight.

The new owner of a supposedly haunted New Orleans plantation manor uncovers a shocking secret that has been hidden for over 100 years.
