Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Aimed squarely at anyone who likes to solve it before the characters do and people who like their stories with a little danger. The investigation drives everything, one lead at a time.
The mood
Tense, dark and gritty.
The pace
Quiet, then quietly devastating, at 1 hr 55 min.
What might put you off
  • It's in another language, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Skip it if you like your heroes clean-cut.

A serial killer preying on unfaithful wives sets his eyes on an investigator's wife. The culprit is a debonair director, whose compulsion to prey on married women stems from a deep psychological trauma.
