Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Best for anyone nostalgic for their awkward years and anyone who values honest, human stories. Small moments carry real weight here, the way they do when you're young. Same wavelength as Trainspotting or Brick. It deals with hard things honestly.
The mood: Thoughtful and character-driven.
The pace: Gives its people room to develop, at 1 hr 28 min. Done before bedtime.
What might put you off: Skip it if you need something light and fast tonight.

Sweet suburban teen Amanda is introduced by her new friends to prescription drug-sharing, but the recreational fun soon leads her to a life-altering heroin addiction.
