Monday Morning Maybeearly ratingWhy it’s a Monday Morning Maybe
With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.
Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below. Is it for you?
- Who'll love it
- Tailor-made for people who love a story about friendship and anyone looking for a holiday tradition. The friendships are the beating heart of it. A good follow-up to The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse or Bridge to Terabithia. Made to be watched with the tree lit.
- The mood
- Feel-good.
- The pace
- Paced for all ages, at 1 hr 29 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
- What might put you off
- No age rating on record, so check it first for young kids.
- It's in Norwegian, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
- Probably not for a grown-ups-only night in.
This kid has to move to a farm in his summer vacation and don't get to go to Norway Cup as he had planned for. Out on the country there is bad cellphone reception, cow smell and inbreed farmers as far as the eye can see. The family Volvo get stolen and the foreigners in the small town automatically gets blamed. From there is a chase to discover what truly happened...
