Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With just 18% on Rotten Tomatoes, almost no lasting buzz and a lukewarm 48% audience score, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
If you count yourself among fans of end-of-the-world stories and anyone who likes big what-if ideas, this one's for you. It builds a whole broken world and makes you live in it. Same wavelength as Terminator 2: Judgment Day or Mad Max: Fury Road. Built to entertain rather than impress the critics, and audiences love it for that.
The mood
Exciting.
The pace
Lean, with little time wasted, at 1 hr 33 min.
What might put you off
  • Rated R: meant for adults.
  • Critics were cooler on it than audiences.
  • Not for anyone who finds explosions tiring.

In a post-apocalyptic future, bounty hunter Attica Gage pursues a ruthless outlaw at the head of a dangerous criminal gang.
