Monday Morning Maybeearly ratingWhy it’s a Monday Morning Maybe
With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.
Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below. Is it for you?
- Who'll love it
- Aimed squarely at anyone who's wondered what makes us human and fans of close encounters. Underneath the tech, it's asking what being human really means. If you loved The Terminator or Grindhouse, start here. The aliens are the hook, but the human reactions are the story.
- The mood
- Scary.
- The pace
- Builds dread steadily, at 1 hr 27 min. An easy one to fit in on a school night.
- What might put you off
- Not ideal if you just want to unwind.
What starts off as a typical day on the streets of Seattle soon becomes a terrifying bloodbath, when a great white shark devours an alien space probe…and ROBOSHARK is born. The U.S. military comes after it with guns blazing, but it’s the power of social media that puts an ambitious newscaster and her tech-savvy daughter ahead of everyone else in the race to stop the destruction.
