Weeknight Watch

Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With almost no lasting buzz and a lukewarm 48% audience score, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Aimed squarely at people who like the lights on afterwards and anyone who loves a world with magic in it. The scares come from the creaks and shadows as much as the jumps. A good follow-up to House on Haunted Hill. Its magic has rules, and the story plays by them.
The mood: Scary.
The pace: Builds dread steadily, at 1 hr 32 min.
What might put you off: Skip it if you scare easily or watch alone at night.

A young couple go on an adventurous vacation to Thailand only to find themselves haunted by a malevolent spirit after naively disrespecting a Ghost House.
