Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
A natural pick for people who like their stories with a little heart-flutter and anyone who wants a laugh. One to watch when you can give it your full attention. Same wavelength as The Invite.
The mood
Funny with heart, romantic.
The pace
Gives its people room to develop, at 1 hr 28 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
What might put you off
  • It's in Portuguese, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Skip it if you need something light and fast tonight.

"No one loves anyone for more than two years" is an adaptation of Nelson Rodrigues' work about five couples that live in Brazil in the early 60's, who are seen by the society as conventional people, but whose intimate lives turn out to be morally questionable.
