Weeknight WatchWhy it’s a Weeknight Watch
With almost no lasting buzz, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.
Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below. Is it for you?
- Who'll love it
- A natural pick for people who love a good growing-up story and people who love a good family story. It gets the awkwardness and the high stakes of being young. Liked Paddington? This is a good next one. Anyone with siblings or parents will recognize something here.
- The mood
- Light and funny, feel-good.
- The pace
- Lively and easy to follow, at 1 hr 33 min.
- What might put you off
- Not the pick if you want something heavy or meaningful.
When Chloe and Riley Lawrence are invited to London to participate in the international Model U.N. competition, they enjoy seeing the sights and head over heals romance with cute british boys of course.
