Weeknight Watchearly rating

Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With a box office flop, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Tailor-made for anyone who loves backroom deals and speeches and anyone who loves trying to stay one step ahead. Power and ambition drive every scene. Shelve it next to WarGames or The Hunt for Red October.
The mood: Tense.
The pace: Gives its people room to develop, at 2 hr 25 min.
What might put you off: It's in Tamil, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
Not for anyone who finds explosions tiring.

A young politician finds himself in a position where he has to contest against his girlfriend, who is ambitious. Circumstances force his look-alike twin to also get involved in this political battle.
