Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Right up the alley of fans of survival stories and anyone who likes their romance with a bite. The tension comes from simply getting through the next day. Shelve it next to Dracula or Nosferatu. Vampire lore, given its own spin.
The mood
Scary.
The pace
Tense from early on, at 1 hr 21 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
What might put you off
  • It's in Italian, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Made in 1960: an older pace and style.
  • Skip it if you scare easily or watch alone at night.

Sexy nightclub dancers get trapped in a dark, creepy castle for the night.
