Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Great for anyone who believes we're not alone and anyone who wants a laugh. The aliens are the hook, but the human reactions are the story. Fans of The Terminator or Prey should feel right at home. Set in sun-baked Los Angeles.
The mood
Light and funny.
The pace
Moves at a clip, at 1 hr 38 min.
What might put you off
Skip it if you prefer quiet, talky stories.

When a meteor shower rains down outside Los Angeles, Jonas and Lars, two friends stuck in tired, boring lives, head out to find a meteor and strike it rich. After recovering one, they start being stalked by terrordactyls, ancient flying reptiles that launch a full-on assault on the city. Trying to survive, they go on the run...
