Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Made for fans of swords, quests and kingdoms and people who love a story about friendship. A proper quest, with a world big enough to get lost in. Sits nicely alongside The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. The friendships are the beating heart of it.
The mood
Exciting.
The pace
Wastes no time getting going, at 1 hr 22 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
What might put you off
  • It's in Turkish, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Made in 1973: an older pace and style.
  • Skip it if you prefer quiet, talky stories.

Vandal king Attila's trying to save his son kidnapped by Tarkan and stories of friends.
