- Who'll love it
- Aimed squarely at anyone who likes to solve it before the characters do and anyone drawn to the darker side of the street. The investigation drives everything, one lead at a time. Shelve it next to Prisoners or Blue Velvet. Critics rate it higher than audiences do, so it rewards patience more than it chases thrills.
- The mood
- Tense, dark and gritty.
- The pace
- Takes its time with its characters, at 1 hr 31 min.
- What might put you off
