Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Right up the alley of armchair detectives and anyone who likes their romance with a bite. The investigation drives everything, one lead at a time. Liked The Innocents or Sinners? This is a good next one. Vampire lore, given its own spin.
The mood
Scary, gritty.
The pace
Builds dread steadily, at 1 hr 10 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
What might put you off
  • It's in French, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Skip it if you like your heroes clean-cut.

Strange disappearances have occurred somewhere in France and a bunch of paranormal fans decide to break into an old building to find out what has happened.
