Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: A natural pick for music lovers and crime fans. The music is woven into the story, not just laid on top. A good follow-up to The Ladykillers or Family Plot.
The mood: Light and funny.
The pace: Quick and easy-going, at 1 hr 29 min. An easy one to fit in on a school night.
What might put you off: It's in German, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
Skip it if you like your heroes clean-cut.

The dead body of a tourist is found in the mountains of Tyrol. The murder investigation focuses on the residents of a seemingly quiet village.
