Weeknight Watchearly rating

Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
If you count yourself among anyone with a best friend they'd call at 3am and romantics, this one's for you. The friendships are the beating heart of it. Same wavelength as As Good as It Gets.
The mood
Light and funny, romantic.
The pace
Quick and easy-going, at 1 hr 25 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
What might put you off
  • It's in French, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Not the pick if you want something heavy or meaningful.

Two couples, Pierre and Aimée, Éric and Pénélope, all share four years of friendship without cloud. Only concern, Penelope and Pierre have become lovers ...
