Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
A natural pick for anyone nostalgic for their awkward years and anyone with a best friend they'd call at 3am. It gets the awkwardness and the high stakes of being young. A good follow-up to Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey. The friendships are the beating heart of it.
The mood
Light and funny, romantic.
The pace
Paced for all ages, at 45 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
What might put you off
Skip it if you want something with an edge.

Rufus is a dog but turns into a human with a pendant. He meets a girl named Kat who asks him to go out. Kat is a cat who can also turn into a human as well.
