Saturday Special

Why it’s a Saturday Special

Audiences adore it (7.8 out of 10), it made about 5 times its budget and it's still drawing plenty of interest. A strong pick for the weekend.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Made for anyone who wants a laugh and families. If you loved Fantasia or Trolls, start here. Audiences love it more than critics do: a crowd-pleaser first.
The mood: Light and funny, feel-good.
The pace: Breezy, at 1 hr 50 min.
What might put you off: Critics were cooler on it than audiences.

Buster and his new cast now have their sights set on debuting a new show at the Crystal Tower Theater in glamorous Redshore City. But with no connections, he and his singers must sneak into the Crystal Entertainment offices, run by the ruthless wolf mogul Jimmy Crystal, where the gang pitches the ridiculous idea of casting the lion rock legend Clay Calloway in their show. Buster must embark on a quest to find the now-isolated Clay and persuade him to return to the stage.
