Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
One for anyone who likes a story with a soundtrack worth keeping and anyone who likes corsets, castles and court intrigue. The music is woven into the story, not just laid on top. Liked A Night at the Opera or Theater Camp? This is a good next one. The costumes and settings are a feast on their own.
The mood
Light and funny.
The pace
Zips along, at 1 hr 20 min. An easy one to fit in on a school night.
What might put you off
Skip it if you're after something serious tonight.

When Zaza, headliner of a weekly drag show, 'CHERRY POP', refuses to come out of her dressing room, all hell breaks loose backstage. A young newcomer, The Cherry, is hiding a huge secret from the girls while getting ready for his debut performance.
