- Who'll love it
- A natural pick for people who root for the clever crook and anyone who likes knowing it really happened. Half the pleasure is trying to spot the trick before the reveal. A good follow-up to The Night of the Hunter or Family Plot. Built to entertain rather than impress the critics, and audiences love it for that.
- The mood
- Tense, gritty.
- The pace
- Lean, with little time wasted, at 1 hr 33 min.
- What might put you off
- Critics were cooler on it than audiences.
- Skip it if you like your heroes clean-cut.
In April 2015, the Hatton Garden Safe Deposit Company, an underground safe deposit facility in London's Hatton Garden area, was burgled by 4 elderly men. With the stolen property having a value of up to £200 million, the incident has been called the "largest burglary in English history".
