Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: A natural pick for anyone nostalgic for their awkward years and spy-story fans. Small moments carry real weight here, the way they do when you're young. Shelve it next to The Social Network or Primetime. Nobody is quite who they seem.
The mood: Thoughtful and character-driven.
The pace: Quiet, then quietly devastating, at 1 hr 28 min. An easy one to fit in on a school night.
What might put you off: It's in German, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
Skip it if you need something light and fast tonight.

16-year-old Lara takes nude photos for her boyfriend, which soon flood social media. Lara's phone has been hacked, the photos published, and she's being blackmailed.
