Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With almost no lasting buzz and a lukewarm 6.0 out of 10 from audiences, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Made for fantasy fans and adventure fans. If you loved The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King or Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, start here.
The mood: Exciting.
The pace: Moves along nicely, at 1 hr 38 min.
What might put you off: Rated PG-13. Probably too much for younger kids.

When the King Gareth dies, his potential heirs, twin grandchildren who possess the dragon’s unique strengths, use their inherited powers against each other to vie for the throne. When Drago’s source of power – known as the Heartfire – is stolen, more than the throne is at stake; the siblings must end their rivalry with swords and sorcery or the kingdom may fall.
