Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With almost no lasting buzz and a lukewarm 48% audience score, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
A natural pick for people who love relationship stories and anyone who likes big what-if ideas. Relationships are put under a microscope, for better or worse. Sits nicely alongside Avatar: Fire and Ash or Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith.
The mood
Exciting.
The pace
Wastes no time getting going, at 1 hr 32 min.
What might put you off
Skip it if you like your stories firmly grounded in the real world.

When a solar eclipse sends a colossal blast of super chilled air towards the earth, it then sets off a catastrophic chain of events that threatens to engulf the world in ice and begin a new Ice Age.
