Weeknight Watchearly ratingWhy it’s a Weeknight Watch
With soft box office and little lasting buzz, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.
Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below. Is it for you?
- Who'll love it
- Right up the alley of people who'll be humming afterwards and people who like their stories with a little heart-flutter. The music is woven into the story, not just laid on top. Liked Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans or Far from Heaven? This is a good next one.
- The mood
- Warm and romantic.
- The pace
- Quiet, then quietly devastating, at 2 hr 2 min.
- What might put you off
- It's in another language, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
- Skip it if you need something light and fast tonight.
Ram Menon is a nature lover who runs a resort in the middle of the forest to cater to people who wants to get away from their busy lives.
