Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Right up the alley of people who'll be looking things up afterwards and people who like their stories with a little danger. Based on real events, so expect to go down a research rabbit hole afterwards. Sits nicely alongside Once Upon a Time in America.
The mood
Dark and gritty.
The pace
Lets scenes breathe, at 1 hr 27 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
What might put you off
Skip it if you need something light and fast tonight.

Lyle and Eric Menendez were nice, educated boys from Beverly Hills, which makes the murder of their parents even more inexplicable. Never-before-seen details emerge in this investigation into their lives.
