Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Aimed squarely at anyone interested in what war does to people and a family movie night. It puts you in the middle of the fighting, and doesn't let you forget the cost.
The mood
Feel-good.
The pace
Bright and bouncy, at 1 hr 35 min.
What might put you off
  • No age rating on record, so check it first for young kids.
  • It's in another language, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Skip it if you want something with an edge.

The story of a war-orphan, who remembers first post-war days, his stay in Home for war-orphans, his teachers, friends, and mostly his "only brother".
