Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Who'll love it: Tailor-made for anyone drawn to the darker side of the street and anyone who likes a story with emotional weight. Plenty of moral grey areas to chew on. Shelve it next to The Asphalt Jungle or Cape Fear.
The mood: Dark and gritty.
The pace: Gives its people room to develop, at 1 hr 23 min. Done before bedtime.
What might put you off: Made in 1956: an older pace and style.
Skip it if you like your heroes clean-cut.

A con woman tries to swindle her partner-in-crime husband with the help of one of her former marks. But is she to be trusted?
