Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With rough reviews, a box office flop and little lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
If you count yourself among people who like their stories with a little danger and people who enjoy a knot in their stomach, this one's for you. Made for the biggest screen and the loudest speakers you have. Shelve it next to The Dark Knight.
The mood
Tense, gritty.
The pace
Epic and sweeping, at 2 hr 46 min.
What might put you off
  • It's long: 2 hr 46 min.
  • It's in Telugu, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Skip it if you prefer quiet, talky stories.

A young boy is made to realise that the police form the backbone of society and every cop is akin to Lord Hanuman the protector. He then makes up his mind about becoming a cop when he grows up.
