Weeknight Watchearly rating

Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With middling reviews (46% on Rotten Tomatoes) and soft box office, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Tailor-made for fans of a good haunting and people who enjoy a knot in their stomach. The scares come from the creaks and shadows as much as the jumps. Sits nicely alongside The Exorcist or Barbarian.
The mood: Scary.
The pace: Keeps the tension tight, at 2 hr 15 min.
What might put you off: Rated PG-13: scary moments. Probably too much for younger kids.
It's in Hindi, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
Not one for anyone who hates jump scares.

Arnab tries to help Ruksahana, who is found under mysterious circumstances in a house. He lets her stay at his home until he discovers something strange about her.
