Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Best for people who like stories about real, flawed people. Best on a quiet night when you're in the mood to feel something.
The mood
Thoughtful and character-driven.
The pace
Quiet, then quietly devastating, at 14 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
What might put you off
Skip it if you need something light and fast tonight.

Shanti is born into the life of a maid for a lonely grandmother, Nai Nai, who runs a tiffin food delivery business. Over the years, Shanti grows up with Nai Nai's love and affection despite their social and class differences. Tiffin is a bittersweet story that reminisces about the way things were, examines the way things have become and ponders about the future that lies ahead.
