Monday Morning Maybe

Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop, almost no lasting buzz and a lukewarm 5.6 out of 10 from audiences, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Made for anyone who likes to be kept guessing, anyone who wants a laugh and sci-fi fans. If you loved Bugonia or Sorry to Bother You, start here. Critics rate it higher than audiences do, so it rewards patience more than it chases thrills.
The mood
Light and funny, tense.
The pace
Breezy, at 1 hr 26 min.
What might put you off
Nothing much for most grown-ups.

Smith, a typical young college student who likes partying and engaging in acts of random sex and debauchery, has been having some interesting dreams revolving around two gorgeous women -- and is shocked when he meets the dream girls in real life. Lorelei looks just like his fantasy brunette, while a mysterious red-haired girl being chased by assassins draws him into an international conspiracy. Or is it all just a drug-induced hallucination?
