Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Aimed squarely at anyone who likes yelling at characters not to go upstairs and anyone who likes to be kept guessing. Classic slasher set-up: count who's left standing. Shelve it next to Scream or Grindhouse.
The mood
Scary and gory.
The pace
Builds dread steadily, at 1 hr 29 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
What might put you off
  • It's in Swedish, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Skip it if you want something to relax to.

A couple of friends break into their school late one night to solve a mystery hidden in the past, only to realize that they are trapped inside with a masked serial killer.
