Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Tailor-made for anyone with a soft spot for road trips and people who like their stories with a little heart-flutter. It's a road trip, so the detours matter as much as the destination. Liked Transamerica or Grandma? This is a good next one.
The mood
Funny with heart, romantic.
The pace
Quiet, then quietly devastating, at 1 hr 29 min. Done before bedtime.
What might put you off
Skip it if you're after something serious tonight.

Jenni, an orphaned semi-savant, and a street hustler named Sam, steal a car and head to Los Angeles to find Jenni's father whom she hasn't seen or heard from since she was six years old.
