Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and little lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Made for anyone who likes watching someone settle a score and people who'll be humming afterwards. A revenge story, so expect the pressure to build to a reckoning. Fans of Julius Caesar or Les Misérables should feel right at home. The music is woven into the story, not just laid on top.
The mood: Emotional (bring tissues).
The pace: Takes its time with its characters, at 1 hr 50 min.
What might put you off: It's in another language, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
Made in 1962: an older pace and style.
Not for anyone who finds explosions tiring.

Living in exile after the death of their father, the grown children of a murdered and usurped king converge to exact eye-for-an-eye revenge.
