Monday Morning Maybeearly ratingWhy it’s a Monday Morning Maybe
With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.
Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below. Is it for you?
- Who'll love it
- Best for people who can't resist a good whodunit and anyone who remembers how big everything felt at sixteen. It plays fair with the clues, so you can play along. Liked Searching or Picnic at Hanging Rock? This is a good next one. It gets the awkwardness and the high stakes of being young.
- The mood
- Tense.
- The pace
- Character-first and patient, at 1 hr 53 min.
- What might put you off
- It's in Korean, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
- Not the one if you want explosions or easy laughs.
When a school girl disappears, suicide is suspected, and one of her classmates is suspected of having goaded her into it.
