Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Aimed squarely at anyone who likes life-or-death stakes every episode and anyone who wants something that moves them. Life-and-death stakes, often at a run. A good follow-up to Close Encounters of the Third Kind or The Jungle Book. It's about loss, handled with care rather than melodrama.
The mood
Exciting.
The pace
Takes its time with its characters, at 1 hr 19 min. Done before bedtime.
What might put you off
Not the one if you want explosions or easy laughs.

Sophie, a young volunteer, meets her kindred spirit in Roxie, a girl with a life threatening medical condition and a unique wish to meet Bigfoot.
