Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: One for parents and kids watching together and people who like stories about real, flawed people. One the grown-ups won't mind watching too. Shelve it next to The Rookie.
The mood: Feel-good.
The pace: Lively and easy to follow, at 2 hr 17 min.
What might put you off: No age rating on record, so check it first for young kids.
It's in another language, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
Skip it if you want something with an edge.

A friendly father encourages his son to pursue his dreams. In contrast, another man imposes his own perspective on his son while the third is disinterested in his boy's future.
