Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With just 36% on Rotten Tomatoes, a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
One for fans of small-town stories and anyone who's ever talked to their pet. A place where gossip travels faster than the plot. Sits nicely alongside The Secret Life of Bees or My Cousin Vinny. An animal steals a fair few scenes.
The mood
Feel-good.
The pace
Paced for all ages, at 1 hr 30 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
What might put you off
  • Rated PG: peril. Worth a look first if you have very young kids.
  • Skip it if you want something with an edge.

In this third movie about Shiloh, Judd Travers is accused of killing a man he once fought in a bar. Everyone in the town consider Judd to be guilty except Marty Preston, but even him has some doubts. Trying to clear Judd's name Marty and his friend searches the woods to find the criminal.
