Seen it?2008 | 82 min | Comedy
Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe
With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.
Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below. Is it for you?
- Who'll love it
- Aimed squarely at people who love a story about friendship and anyone looking to switch off and smile. The friendships are the beating heart of it.
- The mood
- Light and funny.
- The pace
- Zips along, at 1 hr 22 min. An easy one to fit in on a school night.
- What might put you off
- Rated R: meant for adults.
- Skip it if you're after something serious tonight.
We're thrown into a world of metalheads unlike those in Hollywood. Mainstream movies about metalheads are actually showing you posers, not metal people. Hollywood only understands the mainstream, so their idea of metal is the pop and glam garbage. In the words of slacker Bill, the only time that a song should have the word 'baby' in it is when the song is about killing babies.
