Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Made for anyone who likes to be kept guessing and people who like to watch through their fingers. A good one for a late-night scare. Liked Peeping Tom or The Others? This is a good next one.
The mood
Scary.
The pace
Tense from early on, at 6 min. An easy one to fit in on a school night.
What might put you off
  • It's in Chinese, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Not one for anyone who hates jump scares.

Chan is a Chinese factory worker who lives alone. Every night, she suffers from horrific nightmares involving the woman in the apartment next door, a Japanese office lady.
